Charli XCX has canceled her scheduled October 21 concert at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, after losing her voice while battling an illness.
The pop singer confirmed the cancellation in an Instagram announcement on October 20, explaining that she had been dealing with sickness throughout her Music, Fashion, Film Tour.
Despite efforts to find another date, the performance could not be rescheduled. Fans who purchased tickets will receive refunds through their original points of purchase.
Charli apologized to those who had made travel arrangements or planned to attend the show. She also expressed her disappointment and assured fans that she hopes to return to Arizona in the future.
The cancellation follows two performances in Los Angeles and comes as the North American portion of her tour approaches its conclusion.
Her next scheduled concert is October 23 in Las Vegas, which is expected to close out the U.S. dates.
For now, the singer plans to rest her voice ahead of the Las Vegas performance. No additional cancellations have been announced.
