Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. has released their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, marking another chapter in their evolving musical direction.
Released October 16, 2026, the 11-track album has also received a complete song ranking from Billboard, highlighting the band’s latest material and its move toward darker, more experimental sounds.
Produced by James Ford, Dopamine Chamber follows the group’s Grammy-nominated 2024 album Romance, which helped expand their international audience.
The new record explores themes of emotional detachment, uncertainty, and modern life, blending post-punk influences with electronic textures and atmospheric arrangements.
Among its notable tracks is Marianne, the album’s lead single, alongside Where Is Gone?, a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalía.
The release also arrives ahead of a major European tour beginning October 21 in Lisbon. The band has additional stadium performances planned for 2027, including a headline appearance at Ireland’s Slane Castle.
With Dopamine Chamber, Fontaines D.C. continue developing the musical identity that has taken them from Dublin’s post-punk scene to international stages.
