GLAAD announced the winners of its 37th Annual Media Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles, recognizing work in music, film, television and journalism that reflects LGBTQ people and stories with accuracy and care. The awards honored projects released during 2025 and celebrated both established names and newer voices across entertainment.
Among the music winners, GLAAD gave Outstanding Music Artist to Young Miko for Do Not Disturb, while KATSEYE received Outstanding Breakthrough Music Artist. In film and television, Kiss of the Spider Woman won for wide theatrical release, Heated Rivalry took Outstanding New TV Series, and Stranger Things won in drama series. Palm Royale earned the comedy series award, while The Traitors won for reality competition program.
The awards also recognized podcasts, Broadway productions and media outlets. Liberation won Outstanding Broadway Production, and several journalism honors went to outlets covering LGBTQ communities and issues in depth. The annual event continues to serve as a major marker for inclusive storytelling across entertainment and news media.
